Allen "Bub" Brown

Allen “Bub” Brown, 77, of Shubert, NE, passed away December 31, 2017 at Lincoln, NE. He was born June 11, 1940 at Eagle, NE to Charles and Mary (Bowers) Brown.

He married Beverly Kuker on October 23, 1960 at Shubert, NE.

Bub was raised in the Shubert area and graduated Shubert High School in 1960. He worked at Frontier Homes, Circle Steel and was an over the road truck driver for Keim Trucking for 21 years, retiring in 2008. He was a member of Shubert Christian Church.

Bub is survived by his wife, Beverly of Shubert, sons, Mark and his wife Naomi of Lenexa, KS, Bruce of Shubert, sister, Bobbi Shubert and her husband Alan of Shubert, sister-in-law, June Brown of Shubert, grandchildren, Rachel, Brandee and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Eldro “Blaine”, James “Toad” and Howard “Bud” and 1 in infancy, sisters Betty Gerlt, Bethel Philpi, and Carleen Dettmann.

His funeral will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Shubert Christian Church with Reverend Gene Rowell officiating. Interment will be in Harris Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
