Cynthia S. (Yates) Zachek, 63 of Falls City, NE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 13, 2017 at Falls City. She was born May 2, 1954 at Lincoln, NE, to Robert W. and Ellen M. (Kendle) Yates. She married Edward Zachek, in 1983 at Lincoln and they were later divorced.
Cindy was raised in Lincoln. She graduated from Norris High School in 1972. Following graduation she attended Southeast Community College studying Dietary Science. She worked for many years in the Dietary Department at Tabitha Rehabilitation Hospital and was manager for Super Sub in Lincoln. She was a former member of the Eastridge Presbyterian Church in Lincoln.
Cindy is survived by her Sons: Christopher E. Faulder, York, NE Phillip T. and his wife, Kayla Zachek, Kearney, NE. Grandchildren: Izabellah, Alaunah and Anslee Zachek, Kearney. Siblings: Barbara (Yates) Hansen, and her husband Tom, Firth, NE, Ken Yates, Lincoln, Shari (Yates) Morehead, and her husband Jay, Salem, NE. Many Nieces, nephews and greats.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church with the Reverend FayAnn Blaylock officiating.
