David C. Reavis, 75, of Falls City, NE, passed away February 11, 2017 at Lincoln, NE. He was born on December 5, 1941 to the late David D. Reavis, Jr. and Sylvia (Clark) Reavis.
He served in the Nebraska National Guard from 1965 until 1971.
He married Nancy Armbruster in 1968 and they were later divorced.
Dave graduated Falls City High School in 1960. Following his service in the Nebraska National Guard he became employed in the hospitality industry and managed the Vet’s Club, Oasis and Falls City Country Club. He retired in 2006. He was a member of American Legion Post #102 at Falls City.
David is survived by daughter, Jolie Edwards and her husband Marty of Papillion, NE; brother, Frank Reavis of Lincoln, NE; and grandsons, Quaid and Lane Edwards. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Boatright officiating. Inurnment will be in Dorrington-Reavis-Towle Mausoleum at Steele Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
