Eric Kelz

Eric James Kelz II was born June 6, 1993 to Eric and Teresa (Finner) Kelz at Ft. Belvoir, VA. He lived in Woodbridge, VA, Kaneohe, HI, and Jacksonville, NC before moving to Falls City when he was 10. He graduated Falls City High School in 2011

After graduated he joined the Marine Corps and was stationed in Hawaii for four years. Upon his honorable discharge he enrolled at UNL and was majoring in computer science.

He was an amazing little brother to Todd Finner and Jessica Kelz, the best friend and big brother to Andrew Mackey and the world to Teresa and Jason Mackey.

Eric was loved and adored by many. He enjoyed hunting with his stepdad and brother, Todd and loved any sport because he was good at all of them.

He entered eternal rest on December 11, 2017. He will be greatly missed by many.

Eric is survived by his parents, Jason and Teresa Mackey of the home, father, Eric Kelz of Kailua, HI, brothers, Andrew Mackey of the home, Todd Finner and his wife Nicole of Crete, NE, Alex and Anthony Kelz both of Kailua, sister, Jessica Kelz of Falls City, grandparents, Dennis and Mary Finner, Tim and Colleen Mackey and Carol Mackey all of Falls City, Alice Kelz of Caryville, TN, great-grandmother, Gerri Troncin of Falls City, aunts and uncles, Doug and Salena Cooper, Karen and Jon Dunlap, Kim and Geoff Zimmerman all of Falls City, Bill and Kerri Finner of Texas, Ed Kelz of Caryville, TN, counsins, Tyler (Syd) and Dax Cooper, Steph Cooper (Vincent Bennett) and Ben, Dakota, Hagen, Hunter, Greenly, Payson, and Tallon Finner of Texas, nephews, Jackson and Declan Finner, and a niece, Kenzie Kelz.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Andrew Chavanak officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
