John Kentopp, 59, of Falls City, NE, passed away July 13, 2017 at Falls City. He was born August 25, 1957 at Falls City to Norbert and Dorothy (Lange) Kentopp.
John was raised in rural Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1977. Following the death of his father he farmed the family farm and then moved to Denver and worked as a metal fabricator. He lived in several places before moving back to Falls City in the late 1990 and continued to live in Falls City off and on since. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (20th and Towle).
John is survived by his mother, Dorothy Kentopp of Falls City, sisters, Nancy Kentopp of Falls City and Lois Kentopp of Beatrice, NE. He was preceded in death by his father, sisters, Pattie Jo and Diane Kentopp.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Steele Cemetery with Father Larry Parrish officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church at Falls City.
