Margaret A. Scholl

Margaret A. Scholl, 91, of Falls City, NE, passed away December 5, 2017 at Falls City. She was born January 9, 1926 at Falls City to Orville and Margaret Ann (Willson) Combs,

She married John E. Scholl on February 26, 1944 at Sanford, FL. He passed away December 26, 1997.

Margaret was raised at Preston, NE and graduated Falls City High School in 1943. After graduation she worked at Falls City Creamery, Bakery and for the County Superintendents Office. When married the couple established their home in Sanford and then moved to Virginia Beach, VA. After his service they moved northeast of Falls City and then northwest of Falls City in 1950 and into Falls City in 1985. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Falls City Chapter of Order of Eastern Star, BPO Does Drove #56 and VFW Auxiliary #1765 all of Falls City.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Edward of Laughlin, NV, Wayne R. and his wife Marsha of Bellevue, NE, grandchildren, John Scholl of Prescott, AZ, Chelsea Hinz and Allison Ostrander of Plattsmouth, NE, step-grandchildren, Melissa Meyer of Austin, TX, Aaron Meyer of Springfield, MO, great-grandchildren, Kinze and Blake Ostrander, Wyatt and Grace Hinz, Alexa, Natasha and Nadia Scholl, step-great-grandchildren Alex and Kaitlynne Meyer, step-great-great-grandson, Joseph Meyer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter at birth, sister, Frona Vohl and a grandson, Jason Scholl.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Steele Cemetery with Reverend Paul Weinert officiating. 

No viewing or visitation, friends may sign the guest register during regular, weekday business hours.
