Mary Wesson Sawyer

Mary Wesson Sawyer, 91, of Falls City, passed away on January 31, 2016. She was born December 30, 1924 to the late Wallace and Lillie (Cox) Wesson at North Little Rock, Arkansas.
She married William Sawyer on February 7, 1947 at Little Rock, Arkansas. He passed away in March of 1998.
Mary Sawyer was born and raised in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1942. She then attended Oauchita University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. She moved to Fort Worth, TX and lived there as well as others places where her husband was a Minister. She later moved to Falls City, Nebraska in March of 2002.
She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Estell of Houston, Texas and Terri Sawyer of Falls City, Nebraska. Three grandchildren and one great grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, Texas.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
