Monta A. Wiltse Mackey, 50, of San Antonio, TX, passed away June 11, 2016 at St. Joseph, MO. She was born May 15, 1966 at Falls City, NE to Joyce (Kelsay) Wiltse and the late Lawrence Wiltse.
She married Cliff Mackey in 1988 at Falls City and they were later divorced.
Monta grew up on the family farm in rural Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1984. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in psychology/sociology from Peru State College and a Master’s Degree in Human Relations for the University of Oklahoma. She was currently employed at United Behavioral Health of San Antonio. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Falls City.
Monta is survived by her daughter, BreAnna Mackey of Hiawatha, KS, mother, Joyce Wiltse of Falls City, brothers, Terry Wiltse and his wife Jennifer and Kevin Wiltse and his wife Mary both of Falls City, granddaughters, Gavriela and Reyna, nephew, Drew Wiltse, niece, Amie Wiltse. She was preceded in death by her father and a niece, Kelly Dianne Wiltse.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Wanda Biel officiating. Inurnment will be in Williamsville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
