Ronald Kunc

Ronald Kunc, 71, of Falls City, NE, passed away August 1, 2015 at Omaha, NE. He was born October 2, 1943 at Pawnee City, NE to the late Harry and Alverna (Terrill) Kunc.

On December 21, 1982 he married Pam Stevens at Bethel United Methodist Church.

Ronald was raised on a farm near Burchard, NE and graduated Lewiston High School in 1962. He attended Southeast Community College at Fairbury, NE and then enlisted in the Nebraska National Guard at Lincoln. In Lincoln he worked for Lincoln Electrical Systems and at Flying L Trailer Factory. He transferred to Falls City and continued his employment with Flying L until working for Woodings Verona and then Ames True Temper. He retired in 2005 due to his health. He then did a lot of volunteer work, including, driving people to various medical appointments and meals on wheels, and he was in charge of 40 blue bird houses in and around Falls City. He was also his churches custodian and did handy work. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church at Falls City.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Pam of Falls City, sisters, Janice Olberding of Jansen, NE, Jo Anne Rinne and her husband Donald of Beatrice, Linda Spilker and her husband Ronald of Pickrell, NE, Terri Steinkamp and her husband Kent of Beatrice, mother-in-law, Loretta Lee Stevens of Falls City, brother-in-law, Dean Stevens and his wife Deb of Falls City, sister-in-law, Lisa Dorman and her husband Tom of Colorado Springs, CO, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Bethel United Methodist Church (1 mile north on Preston Road) with Reverend Karla Shafer officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
