Sue Rolfe

Sue Rolfe, 54, of Falls City, NE, passed away April 15, 2016 at Falls City. She was born February 24, 1962 at Grand Island, NE to Ralph and Peggy (Burke) Exstrom.

On March 5, 1988 she married Michael Rolfe at Valley, NE.

Sue was raised at Valley and graduated Valley High School in 1980. She then attended Gustavus Adolphus College at St. Peter, MN and graduated with a degree Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center; College of Pharmacy and graduated with a Doctorate of Pharmacology.  When married the couple established their home in Hastings for four years, then moved to Alliance, NE and then to Detroit Lakes, MN and settling in Falls City in 1998 where she worked at Community Medical Center as a pharmacist. She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Falls City and was a member of the church choir. For many years she was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and also involved with Rainbow Girls.

Sue is survived by her husband, Michael of Falls City, daughters, Andrea Wisniewski and her husband Joe of Omaha, NE, Ashley Rolfe of Omaha, Gillian Rolf of Falls City, son, Rodney Mount of Lincoln, NE, parents, Ralph and Peggy Exstrom of Valley, brothers, Steve Exstrom and his wife Angela of Valley, Scott Exstrom and his wife Nancy of Valley, sister, Deb Exstrom of Kansas City, KS and four grandchildren, MacKenzie, Blake, Charlie, and Zoe.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church with Reverends John Hogue and Lyle Schoen officiating. Inurnment will be Plainview Cemetery at Maxwell, NE at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to Falls City Girl Scouts or Richardson County Humane Society.

Friends may sign the registry book beginning Monday during regular business hours.
