William “Bill” Woodruff, Jr., 62, of Stella, NE, passed away May 11, 2017 at Lincoln, NE. He was born April 15, 1955 at Pensacola, FL to Andy Cooper and the late Jean Allen.
On November 25, 2010 he married Mary Spicer at Battle Creek, NE.
Bill was raised in various places due to his father’s military service. He was a truck driver his entire life until having to retire due to his health in 2009. He had been a resident of Richardson County since 2010. He spent the last couple of years enjoying life, especially his grandchildren and fishing.
Bill is survived by his wife, Mary of Stella, daughters, Stephanie Corliss and her husband Mason of Stella, Jennifer Woodruff of Sioux Falls, SD, Amanda Andlet of Marysville, KS, son, Warren Paul of Sterling, NE, step-son, Jason James of Falls City, father, Andy Cooper and his wife Jane of Ft. Towson, OK, brother, Dale Allen of Cedar City, UT, grandchildren, Jamie, Justin & Jaxon Woodruff, Hunter & Brooklyn Hestermann, Aaron Hormann, Austin Hestermann. He was preceded in death by his mother and a son, Jason Scott Woodruff.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Salem Bar & Grill
