Marna L. Bahr, 76, of FallsCity, died August 8, 2005 at FallsCity. She was born November 8, 1928 at FallsCity to the late Estel A. and Pearl (Dorste) Sailors.
On January 26, 1948 she married Edward S. Bahr, Jr. at Hiawatha, KS. He died August 19, 1997.
Marna was raised at FallsCity and attended FallsCityHigh School. When married, Marna and Edward made their home in FallsCity and she has lived here since. She worked at the Vet’s Club and the Elk’s Lodge as a waitress.
Marna is survived by a son, Kenny of Falls City, daughters, Cheryl Schawang and her husband Steve, Kathy Wamsley and her husband Dennis both of Falls City, Judy Adams and her husband Wayne of Kansas City, MO, brothers, Gene and his wife Charlotte of Fargo, ND, Dennis and his wife Elsie of Lincoln, NE, Larry and his wife Marilyn of LaVista, NE, sister, Peggy Whittemore and her husband Marshall of Lincoln, eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one step great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, James.
Funeral for Marna will be held on August 11, 2005 10:30 AM at Dorr & Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Steven Wainwright and Father Thomas Dunavan officiating. Interment will be in HarrisCemetery at Barada.
Visitors may view and sign the book from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Viewing will begin Tuesday evening.
