Judy M. Armbruster, 62, of Falls City, NE, died June 20, 2006 at Falls City. She was born to the late Paul E. and Mable (Auxier) Sailors and raised by her parents, the late Donald “Babe” and Maude (Auxier) Sailors from infancy.

Judy married Doyle Hihath and they shortly divorced. She then married Dale E. Armbruster on November 11, 1968 at Greenfield, IA.

Judy graduated from Shubert High School in 1960 at Shubert, NE. She attended Beauty College at Wheat Ridge, CO and the Gard Business College at St. Joseph, MO. After marrying Dale she resided briefly in Iowa before moving to a farm northeast of Falls City for over thirty years and raised their children there. She most recently worked at the Falls City Meat Company for thirty-two years before it closed several years ago. Judy moved to a house in Falls City with her husband in 2003. She was a member of Barada United Methodist Church at Barada, NE and VFW Auxiliary Post #1765 of Falls City.

Judy is survived by her husband Dale of Falls City, daughters, Becky Griffin and husband Brad, Shelly Thompson both of Falls City, Step-son, Duane L. Armbruster and wife Theresa of Preston, NE and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Frank and Paul E. Sailors, Jr. and a sister, Gilda Weiss.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Barada United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 24, 2006 10:30 AM with Pastor Stuart Davis officiating. Inurnment will be in Harris Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home
