Dale E. Armbruster, 79, of Falls City, NE, passed away December 4, 2006 at FallsCity. He was born July 25 1927 at Shubert, NE to the late Ottmar and Hattie (Johnson) Armbruster.
On November 11, 1968 he married Judy M. Sailors at Greenfield, IA. She passed away on June 20, 2006.
Dale was raised on a farm south of Shubert and he lived there until age thirteen. He then lived with his sister and brother-in-law in different places. He graduated from SabethaHigh School at Sabetha, KS in 1944. He was a truck driver and worked for drilling rigs and then worked for the City of Falls City until retiring in 1990.
Dale is survived by a son, Duane and wife Theresa of Preston, NE, daughters, Becky Griffin and husband Brad and Shelly Thompson both of Falls City, brother, Marlin of Falls City, sisters, Eleanor Nichols of Falls City, Barbara Ramsey and husband Charles of Dawson, NE and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers, Robert and Leo.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Father Robert A. Roh officiating. Inurnment will be in HarrisCemetery at Barada, NE.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 from 6-7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
