George E. Arnold, 64, of Falls City, NE, died January 6, 2007 at Falls City. He was born March 9, 1942 at Falls City to the late Carl and Alelia (Hone) Arnold.

He served in the National Guard.

On March 22, 1964 he married Bonnie Foreman at Falls City.

George was raised in the Falls City area and graduated from Falls City High School. When the couple was married they made their home in Falls City. He farmed for many years and later he drove a truck for Keim Transportation of Sabetha, KS. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (20^th and Towle) at Falls City.

George is survived by his wife Bonnie of Falls City, sons, DeWayne of Falls City, Randy of Cedar Falls, IA, brothers, Charles and wife Sherry of Omaha, NE, Dennis and wife Ruth of Beaver Lake, NE, sisters, Linda Dovel of Humboldt, NE, Cheryl West and husband Larry of Falls City, grandchildren, Carl “C. J.” and Hunter Arnold of Falls City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Alelia Umland.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Nile Buch officiating. Interment will be in Harris Cemetery.

Open visitation will begin Monday afternoon.
