Eva B. Adams, 90, of Falls City, NE, passed away June 8, 2007 at FallsCity, NE. She was born March 12, 1917 near Pine City, MN to the late Walter H. & Anna Mae (Rose) Cutler.
She married Orville L. Adams June 6, 1947 at Holton, KS, he passed away February 25, 1970.
Eva was raised near Pine City, MN and at the age of nine years the family moved to Mora, MN & at age sixteen when her Mother died she moved to the Chautauqua, NY area with her Father and later moved to California and other places before establishing their home south of Humboldt when married, later moving to the Shubert, NE area. Following her husband’s death she helped many elderly or handicapped people in their homes in FallsCity and Shubert.
Eva is survived by her daughters, Lila Casey and husband Richard of Shell Knob, MO, Doris Volz and husband Gary of Shubert, NE, step-daughter, Sundra Juilfs of Nebraska City, NE, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 10:00 A. M. at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Weinert officiating. Interment will be in PrairieUnionCemetery, Shubert, NE.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
