Eleanor F. Arnold, 89, of Falls City, NE, passed away August 7, 2007 at Falls City. She was born May 4, 1918 northeast of Falls City to the late Otto and Dora (Ruegge) Herschberger.

On March 8, 1953 she married Willard D. Arnold at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church northeast of Falls City. He passed away October 24, 2000.

Eleanor was raised northeast of Falls City. The couple established their home in Falls City when married and she has lived here since. She did housework for Dr. H. E. Tracey and Jack Mitchell for many years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Eleanor is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Carl, Elmer and Fred Herschberger, sisters, Edna Arnold, Vera Bright, Minnie Lampe, Helen E. Schmidt and Dora Brocker, step-sisters, Pearl and Alma Heuser.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Larry Block officiating. Interment will be in Williamsville Cemetery.
