Matthew W. Armstrong, 37, of Stella, NE, passed away March 26, 2008 in rural Richardson County, Nebraska. He was born April 15, 1970 in Lincoln, NE to Ross Armstrong and the late Sharon M. (Blinde) Armstrong.
Matthew was raised at Auburn, NE and graduated from AuburnSenior High School in 1988. He held various jobs that included working as a lathe operator at Auburn Consolidated Industries at Auburn. He was presently employed by C J Foods at Bern, KS. He was a member of StellaCommunityChurch.
Matthew is survived by a son, Jacob Armstrong of Stella, father, Ross Armstrong and his wife Jean of Kearney, NE, brother, Eric Armstrong and his wife Beth of Carlsbad, CA. He was preceded in death by his mother.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM at StellaCommunityChurch with Pastor Michael Schmidt officiating. A private family inurnment will follow.
Memorials can be made to Child Saving Institute and a trust has been started at Auburn State Bank for the benefit of Matthew’s son, Jacob.
