Patty Maye Kirkendall, 79, of Falls City, NE, passed away February 8, 2010 at FallsCity. She was born February 26, 1930 at Stella, NE to the late Lloyd Bright and Donna (Davis) Bright Reschke.
On April 18, 1948 she married Dean Kirkendall at Shurbert, NE.
Patty was raised in Richardson County Nebraska and graduated from FallsCityHigh School in 1948. She was a mother and homemaker her entire life. She enjoyed cooking and quilting. She was a member of BaradaUnitedMethodistChurch and was a Charter Member of the Barada Sewing Circle.
Patty is survived by her husband Dean of Falls City, daughter, Susie Buethe and her husband Bill of Elk Creek, NE, sons, Randy and his wife Janice of Falls City, Mark of Sioux City, IA, brother, Larry Ludwig and his wife Sherry of Yucaipa, CA, sister, Mary Jane Robertson of Beatrice, NE, step-sister, Donna Kirkendall and her husband Jesse of Falls City, seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Yount officiating. Interment will be in HarrisCemetery at Barada, NE.
