Margaret M. Goltz, 100, of Rulo, NE, passed away February 23, 2010 at Falls City. She was born November 13, 1909 northeast of Falls City to the late Edward and Lissette (Nitzsche) Hunzeker.

On May 23, 1928 she married John H. Goltz at Hiawatha, KS. He passed away February 4, 1995.

Margaret was raised northeast of Falls City, where she attended the Ft. Hazel School. The couple established their home northwest of Rulo when married. She was a homemaker her entire life. They moved into Falls City in 1993

and she moved to Falls City Care Center in 2006. She moved to live with her daughter Dorothy in January 2009. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20^th & Towle St.

Margaret is survived by her son, Donald and his wife Helen of Rulo, daughters, Mary Little of Falls City, Joan Wist of Omaha, NE, Marjorie Gubser and her husband David of Houston, TX, Dorothy Price and her husband John of Rulo, twenty-three grandchildren, sixty great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Marvin Goltz, daughter, Evelyn Brown, sisters, Florence Gentry, Annie Jones, Josephine Walters and brothers, Elmer, Walter, Roy, Henry, Albert and Howard Hunzeker.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20^th and Towle, with Pastor Linda Daniels-Block officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
