Max O. Reimers, 62, of Sabetha, KS, formerly of Shubert, NE, passed away March 8, 2010 at Sabetha. He was born June 27, 1947 at Stella, NE to the late Luther and Basha (Smith) Reimers.
Max was drafted into the U. S. Army on August 30, 1966 at Omaha, NE. He served in Viet Nam and was honorably discharged on September 3, 1968 at Oakland, CA.
Max was raised in the Stella area and graduated from the StellaHigh School in 1966. Following his discharge he worked at Armstrong Cabinets at Auburn, NE for over thirty years. He lived at Shubert, NE since 1990 and had lived in the Sabetha Manor at Sabetha since 2005.
Max is survived by his brother, Frederick and his wife Marcia of Shubert, sister, Shirley Reimers of Shubert, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 1:30 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with David Clark officiating. Interment will be in StellaCemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
