Junior R. Adams, 80, of Reserve, KS, died April 15, 2005. He was born July 4, 1924 at Rulo to the late Russel and Alice (Steinhauer) Adams.
On October 7, 1943 he married Lola M. Phillips at Hiawatha, KS. She died October 30, 2004.
Junior entered the US Army on January 29, 1945 and was discharged December 2, 1946.
Junior was raised in the Rulo area, and when he married Lola they established their home in the Morrill, KS area. He farmed in that area until he moved to Reserve.
Junior is survived by sons, Dan and his wife Marcia, Dale and his wife Pam both of Morrill, brothers, Frederick of Trimble, TN, Roy and his wife Rita of Lincoln, sisters, Lucille Janovec of Gretna, NE, Martha Bearce of Robinson, KS, Betty Olsen and her husband Herb of Hiawatha, KS, Judy Miller and her husband Jim of Falls City, Nina Cole of Lincoln, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Bernice Wist and Veda Stevens, brothers, Robert and William “Red”.
Funeral services will be held on April 19, 2005 1:30 PM at Dorr & Clark Funeral Home with Reverend William G. Shipman officiating. Interment will be in SteeleCemetery.
The family will receive friends on April 18, 2005 7-8:00 PM at Dorr & Clark Funeral Home.
