Byron Estes

Byron Lee Estes, age 68 of Estill Springs, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born on September 9, 1949 in Falls City, NE to the late Byron and Mildred Estes. 

Byron was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Tullahoma, had served in the Air Force and Army Reserve and drove for Moore County Transportation. He loved fishing, camping, going to church, spending time with family and going back home to Nebraska. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Jerry Estes. Survivors include his sons, Jason (Belinda) Estes of Hiawatha, KS and Justin Estes of Lincoln, NE; daughter, Jessica Estes (fiancé, Stacey) of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren, Ben Estes, Anastasia Estes, Sarah Estes, Sam Estes and Jake Estes; siblings, Keith Estes of Minnesota, Shirley (Chuck) Lowery of Winchester, Betty (Henry) Couch of Florida; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives; and fur baby, Rambo.

His funeral will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Interment will be at Verdon Cemetery in Verdon, NE. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
