Donald E. Stewart 85 of Falls City, NE passed away January 15, 2018 at Falls City. He was born January 7, 1933 at Falls City to Joseph and Alice (Brown) Stewart.
He married Judy Hitchcock on June 19, 2000 at Falls City.
Donald was raised at Falls City and attended Falls City Public Schools. He served in the Nebraska National Guard. He worked for Falls City Power and Light, Falls City Meat Company and George A. Rolfes, and lastly for R & R Trucking. He drove a truck for over 38 years, driving in all the contingent 48 states and Alaska. He retired in 1996.
Donald is survived by his wife, Judy of Falls City, Sons Mike and his wife Valerie of Omaha, NE, Kevin of Leavenworth, KS, Step-Children Steve Scholl of Falls City, Tom Scholl of Tecumseh, NE, Robin Hilligan of Lincoln, NE, Mike Beer of Salem, NE, John Beer of Vallisca, IA, Matt & Pat Beer of Falls City, Sister Sue Haws of Falls City and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 wives, sisters, Barb Sailors and Ellen Stewart and a son, Donald.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 7:00-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
