Doris May

Doris L. May, 98, of Lincoln, NE (formerly of Falls City, NE), passed away November 1, 2018 at Lincoln. She was born September 25, 1920 at Rulo, NE to Grover and Esther (Boehme) Darveau.

She married John W. May on October 8, 1938 at Seneca, KS. He passed away December 16, 1987. Together they raised six children. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Judy Lollman and her husband Jerry of Lincoln, Janice Piper of Kokomo, IN, Margaret Muhleka of Lincoln, sons, John and his wife Rolaine of Harland, WI, Mark and his wife Lori of Lincoln, brother, Hugh Darveau of Lakewood, CO, sister, RoseAnne Nolte of Falls City, twenty-two grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Lois DeVeney and great-grandsons, Steven Lollman and Royce Linton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on November 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Thomas Dunavan officiating. Inurnment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery.

A Parish Rosary will be recited on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 6:30 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.

Catholic Daughters Rosary will be recited on Friday, Novenber 16, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
