Ed Bivans, 74, of Humboldt, NE, passed away March 25, 2017 at Lincoln, NE. He was born February 12, 1943 at San Antonio, TX to the late Roy and Alta (Hamlin) Bivans.
He served in the United States Navy
On December 13, 1975 he married Shirley Peck at Falls City.
Ed was a jack of all trades type of guy and it wouldn’t be very long until he had something mastered.
Ed is survived by his wife, Shirley of Humboldt, children, Tony Foster and his wife Bethany of Olathe, KS, Todd Foster of Wellington, KS, Monty Foster and his wife Candy of Grand Island, NE Jeff Cunningham and his wife Jamie of Lincoln, Eddie Cunningham and his wife Niki of Lincoln, Kent Cunningham of Lincoln, Kim Smith and her husband Doug of Lancaster, PA, Edwenda “Wendy” Bivans and her fiancé Eric Creider of Humboldt, Roy Bivans of Lincoln, two sisters, thirty-two grandchildren including Blayde and Shiree who live locally, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
