Luanna Shields

Luanna Shields, 57, of Falls City, NE, passed away September 11, 2019 at Falls City. She was born December 2, 1961 at St. Joseph, MO to Loralou Nauman.

She married Robbie Shields on February 14, 1981 at Falls City. They were later divorced in 1995.

Luanna was raised in Mound City and at the age of 15 moved to Falls City where she graduated Falls City High School in 1981. When married the couple established their home in Falls City. She worked various jobs in Falls City and did housekeeping for many years. She was a member of First Christian Church, Richardson County Humane Society.

Luanna is survived by her life partner, Mike Jahn of Falls City, sons, R J and his wife Sandie of Adams, NE, Nathan and his wife Shannon of Falls City, Richard Emmerlie and his wife Kysha of Charleston, SC, Michael Jahn and his wife Erica of Phoenix, AZ, Nicholas Jahn of Kingsville, TX, brother, Jerry Simerly and his wife Marie of Lincoln, NE, grandchildren, Samantha Anderson, Chloe and Callie Shields, Bentley and Cohen Shields, Lucion Emmerlie, aunt and uncle, Shirley and Dave Jackson of Mound City, MO, and a niece, Maddie Simerly. She was preceded in death by her mother, sister, Mary Elaine Simerly and maternal grandparents, Mace and Mary Nauman.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Fay Ann Blaylock officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-5:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
