Margaret Arnold, 97, of Falls City, NE, passed away June 13, 2017 at Falls City. She was born September 7, 1919 at Falls City to Homer and Elizabeth (Kinsey) Bennett.
Margaret was raised at Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1937. Following graduation she worked as a telephone operator for 7 ½ years in Falls City. She moved to Anaheim, CA in 1951 and back to Falls City in 1984 where she worked part-time for Falls City Housing Authority.
Margaret is survived locally by, nephew, Cecil Bennett and his wife Jean of Falls City, great-niece, Toni Buckminster and her husband Vernon of Rulo, NE, great-nephew, Steve Bennett and his wife Tammy of Lawrence, KS and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Thomas, Ray, Sherman & Harold Bennett, sisters, Georgia Spragin, Myrtle Sheeley and Mary Craig.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Steele Cemetery with Reverend Paul Weinert officiating.
Open visitation and viewing will begin on Thursday afternoon.
