Marsha Brennan

Marsha D. Brennan, 72 of Nebr. City, NE (formerly Falls City, NE and St. Joseph, MO) passed away at her home on Oct. 26, 2018. 

She was born on November 9, 1945 in Sedalia, MO; the daughter of Jiles L. and Mary M. (Timberlake) Kramer.  She attended school and graduated from the  Falls City High School with the class of 1964.  She then attended Clarkson School of Nursing in Omaha, NE and graduated as a Registered Nurse (RN) in 1967. 

Marsha was united in marriage to Richard James Brennan on May 7, 1966 in Falls City, NE and to this union four children were born:  Matthew, Marliss, Jennifer and Jason.  She worked as an RN for several years and later was Office Manager at Midland Orthopedics in St. Joseph, MO-her husband Dick’s medical office.  She was a member of the Falls City Elks Club. 

She is survived by her children:  Matthew J. Brennan (Teffani) of Grand Island, NE, Marliss M. Eisinger (Kevin) of Livonia, MI, Jennifer B. Old (Jeffrey) of Darien, IL and Jason P. Brennan (Leslie) of Plattsburg, MO; five grandchildren:  Giselle “GiGi”, Lilly and Tallulah Brennan, Charlotte and Lucy Old; sister Marliss Miller (Joe) of Nebr. City; brother in law Larry Lent of North Carolina; nieces, nephews other family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband on August 24, 2007, a sister Lynne Lent in 2016 as well as her parents. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday (11/3) at 2:00 p.m. at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home in Falls City, NE with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Rulo, NE.  The family will host a gathering/reception at 4:00 p.m. Saturday (11/3) at the Falls City Elks Club. 

The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday (11/2) at Gude Mortuary in Nebr. City.  In honoring Marsha’s wishes, the casket will remain closed.   

Memorials may be given to Lourdes Central Catholic School in Nebr. City.
