Raymond Tackett

Raymond J. Tackett, 80, of Troy, KS, passed away April 18, 2019 at St. Joseph, MO. He was born June 19, 1938 at Leavenworth, KS to Raymond and Nina (Feverly) Tackett. 

Raymond served in the United States Navy.

Raymond was raised at Leavenworth and moved to the Bay area in California at the age of 14. He had several jobs and practiced several trades. He helped build I-29 and drove trucks. He had lived in Troy since 1975 and worked flea markets for the last 30 years. 

Raymond is survived by his partner, Norma Mez of Troy, daughter, Robyn Smith and her husband Duane of Denison, TX, sons, Billy Ray of Missouri, Chad Ray of Billings, MT, brother, Ronald of Jamestown, CA, sister, Sandra Lewis of Castro Valley, CA, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Yvonne Kennedy

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Weinert officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
