Albert L. Lippold, 92, of Falls City, NE, passed away September 4, 2025 at Falls City. He was born August 14, 1933 at Falls City to Joseph and Julia (Bauman) Lippold.
He married Betty Kirkendall on December 28, 1953 at Rulo, NE. She passed away May 17, 2002.
Albert enlisted in the United Sates Army on July 23, 1953 and served in the European Theater in Germany. He was honorably discharged on May 19, 1955.
Albert attended school at Williamsville Rural School, District 23 and received his GED from American School of Chicago, IL. He worked for Frontier Homes, Flying L, and Airlanco, retiring in 2003. Following his retirement, he mowed the Catholic Cemetery for eleven years with his good friend, Bill Knobbe. He enjoyed working outside mowing yards and going to the Casino. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the VFW.
Albert is survived by his daughters, Lori Hall and Nancy Campbell, both of Falls City, son, Mike and his wife Rhonda of Falls City, six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Mark Alan, a sister in infancy and Anna Margaret Schawang and a brother, Clarence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 10:30 AM with Father Jim Meysenburg as the presiding priest. Interment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.
A Parish Rosar will be recited on Monday, 7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the rosary.
