Barbara Clark, 78, of Falls City, NE, passed away August 15, 2025 at Falls City. She was born June 5, 1947 at Falls City to Robert J. and Laura (Miner) Gibbs.
She married Jerry Clark on June 27, 1965 at Reserve, KS. Jerry passed away May 1, 2020
Barbara was raised east of Reserve and graduated from Reserve High School as Valedictorian of her class of 1965. When married the couple established their home in Falls City. In 1971 they moved to Colorado and then to Cheyenne WY. They moved back to Falls City in 1979. She worked at First National Bank, Jack & Jill Grocery Store and cooked at Falls City Middle School. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed decorating cakes. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Barbara is survived by her son, Dan and his wife Lee of Perry, KS, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, special friend, Ralph Gilkerson of Falls City and mother-in-law, Adaline Clark of Falls City. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Doug, and brothers Robert and Tom Gibbs
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Cornelison Cemetery.
