Billy Marrs

Billy Marrs, 78, of Falls City, NE, passed away November 6, 2020 at Falls City. He was born January 10, 1942 at Falls City to Dearld and Mabel (Kincanon) Marrs.

He married Doris Hunzeker on October 13, 1962 at Falls City.

He served in the United States Navy until being medically discharge.

Billy was raised in the Salem, NE area and graduated Salem High School in 1961. He then enlisted in the U. S. Navy and when discharged he moved back to Salem and worked for Missouri Valley Advertising installing billboards for eight years. He then too employment with J. B. Cattle Company, Stalder Cattle, Circle Steel, W. A. S. P. until 2001 and also drove a truck for Terry Lotter until his health failed.

Billy is survived by his wife, Doris of Falls City, daughters, Jody Strecker of Barada, Connie Simon of Falls City, brother, Don and his wife Donna of Colon, NE, sisters, Mary Lea Hayes of Kansas  City, Elda Jean Rhodd and her husband Louis of Eudora, KS seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jim, Carl, Terry, Jon, Harry and Ricky Marrs, and a granddaughter, Baily Rowland.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Steele Cemetery with Reverend Fay Ann Blaylock officiating.
