Carolyn Zentner

Carolyn Zentner, 80, of Falls City, NE, passed away August 24, 2023 at Falls City. She was born September 12, 1942 at Verdon, NE to Edgar and Gertrude (Schmidt) Kammerer.

She married Richard Zentner on June 9, 1973 at Falls City.

Carolyn was raised in Verdon and graduated Dawson-Verdon High School in 1961. She then went on to attend business school in Omaha, NE. She returned and began working at Richardson County Bank, then Lichty Tubach & Sikora Insurance Agency, and finally she worked for the Richardson County Probate Court, retiring in 2003. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, the Altar Guild and Ladies Missionary Circle both of her church. She enjoyed volunteering for Richardson County Historical Society and the Genealogy Society.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Richard of Falls City, brother-in-law, Kenneth and Robert Zentner both of Falls City. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Bonnie.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Christ Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
