Charles Edwards, 77, of Falls City, NE, passed away February 19, 2024 at Omaha, NE. He was born May 8, 1946 at Kansas City, MO to Harry and Mavis (Eurssery) DeWeese.
Charles enlisted in the U. S. Army on February 15, 1965 at Kansas City. He was honorably discharged on March 28, 1968.
He married Tammy Clements in 1990 at Hiawatha, KS; they divorced in 1992.
Charles was raised various places and attended Piper High School in Piper, KS. He had lived in various places before moving to Falls City in 2000. He has lived here since. He enjoyed bass fishing, cowboy related activities and westerns, his motorcycle, family gatherings, his big screen T.V. and eating moon pies and he was very outgoing.
Charles is survived by his children, Brandon of Falls City, Yvonne Edwards of New Mexico, brother, Jackie Curtis of Falls City, sisters, Linda Gresham of Falls City, Glendene (Davd) Yocum of Dawson, NE, Christine (Kent) Ronnebaum of Hiawatha, Marie DeWeese of Newbury Park, CA, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special friend Janet Kingsley of Kansas City, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Michealla Edwards and two nephews.
Mr. Edwards has been cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date inurnment will be in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
