Christina Runkles

Christina Runkles, 51, of Falls City, NE, passed away July 30, 2021 at Falls City. She was born June 12, 1970 at Hiawatha, KS to Jack and Carolyn (Smith) Blanton, Sr.

She married Roy Tidwell, Jr. on November 23, 1990 and they were later divorced. She then married William Runkles, Jr. on August 16, 2019.

Christina was raised at Hiawatha and attended Hiawatha Schools. She had worked at nursing homes in Hiawatha and Sabetha, KS as well as other various jobs until her health failed and couldn’t work any longer.

Christina is survived by her husband William, Jr. of Falls City, son, Roy Tidwell III of Ellsworth, KS, father, Jack Blanton, Sr. and his significant other, Penny Gastineau of Hamlin, KS, brother, Jack Jr. and his wife Ariel of Hiawatha, Sister, Jackie Leafty and her significant other, Greg Phroper of Falls City, six nephews, a niece, two great-nieces and great-nephew and her beloved dogs. She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.

Christina has been cremated and services will be held at a later date.
