Dianne Hinz Obituary

Dianne Hinz, 74, of Falls City, NE, passed away November 14, 2019 at Falls City. She was born June 28, 1945 at Hastings, NE to V. Edward and Norma (Helmick) Arnold 

She married William Hinz on March 7, 1964 at Falls City.

Dianne was raised at Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1963. She then attended Wesleyan College at Lincoln. When married the couple made their home in Falls City. She worked for Maze Construction, Federal Savings and Loan, Meyer Home Center, Eddie Motors, and also worked with her husband at their business, W & D Auto. She was lastly the children’s librarian at Falls City Library and Arts Center, retiring in 2010. She was an active member of her church and taught Sunday School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, UMW, Sorosis and Beta Sigma Phi.

Dianne is survived by her husband, William of Falls City, daughters, Lisa Ramer and her husband J. R. of Lincoln, Kindra Whalen of Falls City, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Young Je Kim officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
