Don Knapp

Don Knapp, 90, of Falls City, NE, passed away February 29, 2020 at Falls City. He was born October 30, 1929 at Ogallala, NE to Wayne and Ila (Bundy) Knapp. 

He married Maxine Goddard on September 16, 1956.

Don was raised at Big Springs, NE and graduated Big Springs High School in 1947. He enlisted in the U. S. Army and was honorably discharged September 16, 1955 and returned to Ogallala and worked at Goodall Manufacturing Plant. He then worked in the oil fields and moved to California where he worked in the air conditioning field. He retired at the age of 65 and then did odd jobs helping people, moving to the Falls City area in the early 2000’s and has lived here since.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine of Falls City, son, Danny of Colorado, brother, Ivan and his wife Dee of Ogallala, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Knapp was cremated and no services will be held. Inurnment will be in Lakeview Cemetery at Champion, NE at a later date.
