Douglas Berthoud

Douglas Berthoud, 69, of Falls City, NE, passed away December 13, 2020 at Falls City. He was born August 23, 1951 at Ellensburg, WA to Leroy and Gladys (Griebel) Berthoud.

He married Teresa Castilla, January 2, 2004 at Santana, CA

Doug worked as a truck driver, electrician and in various areas of construction. He was capable of doing many things, he was a “jack of all trades”. He worked in California and Washington. The couple moved to Falls City in October of 2010 where he enjoyed a slower pace of life. Doug retired in 2018.

Doug is survived by his wife, Teresa of Falls City, daughters, Amelia Reed and her husband Curtis of Renton, WA, Rebecca O’Dell and her husband Andy of Cave Creek, AZ and their daughters, Sidney and Riley, Tonya Nelson and her husband Joe of Cle Elum, WA and their daughter, Victoria, step-children, Jorge, Lilianna and Arturo, mother, Gladys Berthoud of Moses Lake, WA, sisters, Dianne Hampton and Suzanne Hieronymus both of Moses Lake, nephews, Jake and Jed Hieronymus. He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Berthoud has been cremated and no services will be held locally at this time.
