Eli Sayer

Eli William Sayer, 12, of Falls City, NE, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025 at Falls City. He was born July 23, 2013 at St. Joseph, MO to Luke and Rachel (Keller) Sayer.

Eli was raised at Falls City and attended Falls City Public Schools and stole the hearts of all his peers. He enjoyed the pool and silly sounds, especially kissy noises. He loved taking trips, napping, snuggling and spending time with all his family. He is a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (20th and Towle St.) and the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska.

Eli is survived by his parents, Luke and Rachel of Falls City, sisters, Addyson, Avery and Emily Sayer, grandparents, Luke and Donna Keller, Judie and Steve Sayer, Nan and Lonnie Ankrom, great-grandmother, Donna Sayer, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents and a cousin, Braxton Butler.

His funeral will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (20th and Towle) with Pastor Joanna Kathol officiating. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Family Choice for later designation.
