Evelyn Suess

Evelyn Suess, 100, of Falls City, NE, passed away May 19, 2025 at Falls City. The only child of Paul and Alta (Wright) Suess, she was born April 16, 1925.

Evelyn was raised on the family farm 11 miles northeast of Falls City. She graduated from Arago Center Country School. In 1944 the family moved into Falls City where she worked at Whitten’s Market, Frontier Homes, the cabinet factory and Woodings. She enjoyed women’s softball, bowling league, bingo and dominos. She was a member of St. Pual’s Lutheran Church at 20th and Towle Street.

Evelyn is survived by several cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Joanna Kathol officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

Open visitation will begin Wednesday afternoon at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
