Galen Harring

Galen Harring, 72, of Nemaha, NE, passed away September 21, 2024 at Lincoln, NE. He was born February 26, 1952 at Falls City, NE to Harlan and Marilyn (Hurlbert) Harring.

Galen was raised in Verdon, Hastings and Humboldt, NE, graduating from Humboldt High School in 1970. He then moved to Lincoln and became employed at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in the printing shop. He retired after 30 years of employment. He then worked part-time in the maintenance department at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He moved to his current home in 2021 and has lived there since. He was a member of Capital Christian Church at Lincoln.

Galen is survived by a brother, Kim of Holdrege, NE, sister, Tami Reinitz of California. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tommy Harring in infancy.

His funeral will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Grove officiating. Interment will be in Verdon Cemetery.
