Gerald Fritz

Gerald Fritz, 80, of Falls City, NE, passed away September 26, 2023 at Omaha, NE. He was born July 16, 1943 at Falls City to Albert and Margaret (Lape) Fritz.

He married Norma Carr on September 3, 1962 at Falls City, NE.

Gerald Enlisted in the U. S. Army on April 2, 1963 at Omaha, NE. He earned a Vietnam Service Medal and Sharpshooter Medal. He was honorably discharged on March 26, 1966 at Oakland, CA.

Gerald was raised in Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1961. Following graduation, he worked at International Harvester. When married the couple made their home in Falls City and following his discharge, he returned to Falls City and worked for John Deere and International Harvester before he and John Parrish started Tri State Tractor Repair. He sold the business  in 2013 but continued to work there until recently when his health failed.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Norma of Falls City, children, Todd and his wife Nora of Colville, WA, Michele Pedersen and her husband Mike of Cumming, IA, siblings, Kenny and his wife Jeanine of Verdon, NE, David and his wife Karen of Savannah, MO, Margie Dahlstrom of Beatrice, NE, grandchildren, Lane, Kasey and JD Fritz, Clayton and Elisabeth Pedersen. He was preceded in death by his parents.
