Gertrude Hays

Gertrude Hays, 94, of Falls City, NE, passed away March 19, 2025 at Falls City. She was born September 24, 1930 at Horton, KS to Charles and Ollie (Butler) Watson.

She married Duane C. Hays on December 19, 1975 at Hiawatha, KS. He passed away January 11, 2022.

Gertrude and Duane established their home in Horton, KS when married and moved to Falls City in 1996 and she has lived there since.

Gertrude is survived by the loving staff of Falls City Nursing and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and a brother.

A graveside service for Gertrude and Duane will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Steele Cemetery.
