Imogene Strasil

Imogene Strasil, 99,  of Falls City, NE passed away on April 25, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.  She was born in Falls City to Mr. & Mrs. Joe Gerweck and was a life-long resident of Falls City.

She met and married Alvin Strasil in 1945 and they started their family.

Imogene was loved by everyone she met. Due to her love of children, she started a day care in her home, which she continued for many years.  Imogene loved spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, BINGO, and Husker Football.

She is survived by her children:  Linda, Alvin Jr. (Mary Lynn), Thomas (Lucy) Strasil and Deborah Marshall; Five grandchildren:  Laura Lee Kipp, Erin Strasil Larson, Ryan Strasil, Andrew Strasil and Alicia Marshall; Nine great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

A grave side service will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Falls City Steele Cemetery.
