Jack Walker

Jack Walker, 75, of Falls City, NE, passed away February 2, 2022 at Falls City, NE. He was born on October 29, 1946 at Sabetha, KS to Cyril and Alva (Cummings) Walker.

He married Rita Rowell on February 14, 1986 at Las Vegas. She passed away October 10, 2001.

Jack enlisted in the U. S. Army on March 10, 1966 at Ft. Lewis, WA. He served as a medic. He was honorably discharged on December 11, 1967 and then served in the U. S. Army Reserve until 1972.

Jack was raised south of Dawson, NE and graduated Dawson-Verdon High School in 1965. Following his discharge he returned to Falls City and moved to Omaha in 1974. He worked construction in and around Omaha until 2005 when he retired and moved back to Falls City. He was a life member of the VFW.

Jack is survived by his niece, Lisa Walker of Falls City, great-nieces, Bobbie Popejoy, Jackie Williams and Lindsay Inmon. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother.

Mr. Walker has been cremated and a graveside service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, 1:00 PM at Rulo Cemetery with Reverend Michael Brown officiating. Military Graveside Honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.
