Jenny Honea

Jenny Honea, 70, of Falls City, NE, passed away October 25, 2025 at Atchison, KS. She was born March 22, 1955 at Houston, TX to Clarence and Mabel (Woods) Moore.

She married Walter Honea on June 6, 1970 at Falls City. He passed away March 9, 2014.

Jenny was raised in the Houston, Grand Prairie and Dallas, TX areas. The couple moved to Falls City in 1972. She worked as a waitress and CNA for many years. She also did cake decorating in her home. She retired in 1986 due to her health. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, fishing and bingo.

Jenny is survived by her children, Brenda Gilsdorf and her husband Randy of Falls City, Dawn Honea-Pearce and her husband Steve of Falls City, Walter, Jr. and his wife Amanda of Branson, MO, mother, Mabel Painter of Florida, brothers, Terry and Chris Moore, Shane Miller all of Florida, sister, Cindy Anderson and her husband John of Florida, sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, husband and a sister, Shannon Miller.

Mrs. Honea has been cremated and a graveside service will be held in the spring.
