John Grush
Obituary
John Grush, 72, of Falls City, NE, passed away August 19, 2023 at Falls City. He was born April 26, 1951 at Falls City to J. Howard and Cora Lee (Stump) Grush.
John enlisted in the U. S. Marines on August 16, 1971. He earned a National Defense Service Medal and was a combat engineer. He was honorably discharged on May 1, 1973.
John graduated Falls City High School in 1969 and then attended college for 2 years before joining the Marines. When he returned from service, he was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad for many years.
John is survived by his sisters, Sheryl Hunzeker of Falls City, Charlene Wamsley and her husband Dearle of Smithville, MO, and a brother, William of Falls City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stephen.
A private graveside service will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
