Joseph Stanley Cromer

Joseph Stanley Cromer, 74, of Falls City, NE, passed away April 26, 2022 at Falls City. He was born September 19, 1947 at Falls City to Joseph Jay and Leahruth (Stevens) Cromer.

He married Janelle Olson on May 5, 1973 at Falls City. They later divorced in 1985.

Stan enlisted in the U. S. Army on January 5, 1967 at Omaha, NE and he served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on December 30, 1969 at Ft. Lewis, WA.

Stan attended Falls City High School and upon his discharged he attended trade school in Norfolk, NE and became a certified Ford technician. He returned to Falls City and worked for Eddie Motors. He later went into the construction business with his father, doing soil conservation and operating heavy machinery. He retired in 2008. He enjoyed fishing and working on older cars.

Stan is survived by his children, Jenny Bauman and her husband Mark of Falls City, Matt and his wife Danelle of Falls City, mother, Ruth Cromer of Falls City, brothers, David of Fairview, KS, Mark of Kansas City, MO, sister, Clara Brown and her husband Ron of Falls City and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

His funeral will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Father David Oldham officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-4:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
