Joyce Henninger

Joyce Henninger, 79, of Falls City, NE, passed away July 23, 2023 at Falls City. She was born February 21, 1944 at Sabetha, KS to Edwin and Juanita (Boydston) Henninger.

She married Wilbur Rakestraw on August 4, 1961 and they divorced in 1969. She then married Roger Willey on October 26, 1969 and they divorced in 1978.

Joyce was raised in Sabetha and following her married to Mr. Rakestraw she moved to Falls City where she was a homemaker. When married to Mr. Willey, they continued to make their home in Falls City.

Joyce is survived by her children, Susan Prater and Bryan Rakestraw both of Lexington, MO, brother, Steve Henninger of Pawnee City, NE, sister, Kathy Morris of Falls City, five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.

Joyce has been cremated and a graveside service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 2:00 P. M. at Sabetha Cemetery.
